Guilds and PLUS
PLUS is needed only by people who create a guild, post missions, or add items to the shop.
If you just accept missions and enjoy the guild, you don't need PLUS.
Before you use guilds
- A linked account is required
- Both the person who creates a guild and the people who join need to link a Google or Apple account (Settings → Backup Data in the app). With a linked account, you keep your guilds when you change devices (to move from iPhone to Android, link a Google account).
- One device per member
- Each member joins from their own device with their own account. One device can only join as one member (in a family, each child also needs their own device and account).
Available without PLUS Free
- Join a guild with an invite code or QR codeA linked account is required
- Accept missions and report them doneYou earn guild points when the person who posted the mission approves
- Buy guild shop items with guild points and use them
- Change your nickname or notification settings, and leave a guild
Requires PLUS PLUS
- Create a guildThe person who creates it becomes the owner
- Post missionsWhether owner or member, whoever posts needs PLUS
- Add or edit guild shop itemsYou can still delete items you added after your PLUS ends
- Receive ownership, or take over a frozen guild
Owner only Owner
- Issue invite codes to invite members
- Remove members, and change the guild name or icon
- Mark used items as handled
- Transfer ownership, and dissolve the guild
PLUS applies only to the person who subscribed. Even if the owner has PLUS, other members need their own PLUS to post missions or add items. Completion reports can be approved or sent back by the person who posted the mission and by the owner. If the owner's PLUS ends, the guild is frozen 30 days later, and members can no longer post, accept, or buy.
Examples
Common ways to use guilds, and who needs PLUS.
A family (parents post, kids do)
- ParentOwnerPLUS
- ChildFree
- ChildFree
The parent creates the guild, posts missions, and adds reward items to the shop. Each child joins for free from their own device and trades the guild points they earn for items.
Only the parent needs PLUS
Friends posting missions to each other
- AOwnerPLUS
- BPLUS
- CFree
Everyone who wants to post missions subscribes. A and B can both post and accept, while C only accepts.
Only the people who post need PLUS (2 in this example)
Members who want to add shop items
- OwnerOwnerPLUS
- Item sellerPLUS
- BuyerFree
Anyone who adds items to the guild shop also needs PLUS. Buying items doesn't.
PLUS for people who post missions or add items
When the owner's PLUS ends
- OwnerOwnerPLUS ended
- MemberPLUS
- MemberFree
The guild works as usual for 30 days, then it is frozen and posting, accepting, and buying stop. A member with PLUS can take over as owner and keep the guild going.
To continue, the owner resubscribes or a PLUS member takes over
Using it on your own
- YouPLUS
You can subscribe just for no ads and unlimited custom icons, without using guilds.

FAQ
How do I cancel?
- iPhone: open the Settings app → your name → Subscriptions → MissionTodo PLUS → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: open the Play Store app → your profile icon at the top right → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → MissionTodo PLUS → Cancel subscription.
After you cancel, you can keep using PLUS until the end of the period you have already paid for.
These steps are for reference only. Screen names and steps may change depending on your OS or store app version. Please follow Apple's instructions or Google Play's instructions to cancel.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds follow each store's refund policy, and we cannot issue refunds ourselves. On iPhone, request a refund from Apple's "Report a Problem". On Android, see Google Play's refund help.
What if I change devices or reinstall?
When you link the same account on the new device, your guild memberships, cloud backups, PLUS, one-time purchases, and free period all carry over. Go to Settings → Backup Data in the app, link your account, and tap "Switch" when "Existing Account Found" appears. If your purchases don't show up, tap "Restore to This Account" on the "MissionTodo PLUS" screen in the app (see "Accounts and purchases").
| Device change | Account | PLUS and one-time purchases |
|---|---|---|
| iPhone → iPhone | ○ Link the same Apple or Google account | ○ Keep working |
| Android → Android | ○ Link the same Google account | ○ Keep working |
| Android → iPhone | ○ Link the same Google account | ○ Keep working (billing and cancellation stay with Google Play) |
| iPhone → Android | ○ If you linked a Google account × If you linked only an Apple account (Android doesn't support linking an Apple account) | ○ Keep working if you linked a Google account (billing and cancellation stay with the App Store) |
If you had not linked an account, you can get back only your purchases with "Restore to This Account" on the same store (free periods and campaign themes cannot be recovered). When you switch between iPhone and Android, purchases cannot be recovered either.
If you plan to move from iPhone to Android, link a Google account on your current device first.
Switching between iPhone and Android
If you linked a Google account, just switch to the same account on the new device, and PLUS and your one-time purchases keep working.
Billing, renewal, and cancellation stay with the store you bought from (App Store or Google Play). If you want to pay through the store on your new device instead, switch as follows.
- Cancel PLUS in the old store
- After the period you have paid for ends, subscribe to PLUS again on your new device (you cannot subscribe again while the old PLUS shows as active)
If you linked only an Apple account on iPhone, you cannot link it on Android, so nothing carries over.
What happens when a guild is frozen?
A guild is frozen 30 days after the owner's PLUS ends. While it is frozen, members can only view it, leave it, dissolve it, change notification settings, or transfer ownership. The freeze is lifted if the owner subscribes to PLUS again. A member with PLUS can take over a frozen guild and become its owner.
What happens to a member whose PLUS ends?
You can stay in your guilds, accept missions, and buy guild shop items. You can no longer post missions or add or edit guild shop items (you can still delete items you added).
Is there a limit on guild size?
A guild can have up to 10 members, including the owner, and each person can belong to up to 5 guilds. Invite codes are valid for 24 hours. Guild names, nicknames, missions, and items are visible to the members of the same guild. See our Terms of Service for what is not allowed in guilds.
Is there a free trial?
If you are subscribing to PLUS for the first time, you can use it free for the first 3 days on either the monthly or yearly plan. When the free trial ends, you are charged for the plan you chose, and the subscription then renews automatically.
If you don't want to continue, cancel in your store's subscription settings at least 24 hours before the free trial ends (see "How do I cancel?"). If you cancel, you will not be charged.
The free trial is available only once per Apple ID on the App Store and once per Google Account on Google Play. If you have subscribed to PLUS before, there is no free trial. The "MissionTodo PLUS" screen in the app shows the free trial only to people who are eligible.
This is different from the free period for people who bought a one-time purchase (next question). You can still use the free trial after using that free period.
I bought a one-time purchase. Is there anything for me?
Your one-time purchases — "Remove Ads", the custom icon "Unlimited Pass" or extra slots, and themes — keep working without PLUS and after PLUS ends. They never disappear.
In addition, if you have bought "Remove Ads" or the custom icon "Unlimited Pass" (both one-time purchases), you can receive a free PLUS period once: 45 days for one of them, or 90 days for both. The app shows the offer when you try to use a guild feature without PLUS (you cannot receive it while subscribed). You need to link your account before receiving it. The free period belongs to the account that received it and cannot be moved to another account. You will not be charged automatically when the free period ends (unlike the store free trial, PLUS simply ends).
