CHAPTER 01

Getting Started

MissionTodo is a gamified to-do app that turns your daily tasks into "missions." Clear them to earn points and exchange for your own rewards!

With a built-in point and reward system, staying productive has never been this fun.

  2. Clear & Earn Points — Earn points each time you complete a mission
  3. Redeem Rewards — Spend points on your personal rewards

CHAPTER 02

Screen Overview

Here's an overview of the main screen components.

  1. Status Bar — Shows username, level, and points
  2. Tab Switcher — Switch between "One-Shot", "Daily", and "Regular" missions
  3. Mission List — Main area displaying mission cards
  4. Footer Navigation — Switch between Mission, Shop, and Settings
CHAPTER 03

Mission Types

MissionTodo offers 3 types of missions to handle any kind of task.

1. Daily Mission

Automatically generated every day. A new mission appears after the day start time. Perfect for building daily habits.

2. Regular Mission

Recurring missions on a specific schedule — weekly, monthly, or yearly patterns. Ideal for routine management.

NOTE Regular missions only appear in your mission list on their scheduled days.

3. One-Shot Mission

A single-use mission. You can set a deadline, and it ends when completed. Optionally enable repeat to auto-generate the next mission after clearing.

CHAPTER 04

Creating Missions

Create missions from "Add Mission" in the Settings screen.

Creation Flow

  1. Open the Settings screen
  2. Tap "Add Mission"
  3. Choose mission type (Daily / Regular / One-Shot)
  4. Enter mission name, description, and reward points
  5. Configure additional settings as needed
  6. Tap "Create" to finish

One-Shot Mission

Register a one-time task. You can optionally set a deadline and receive a reminder notification before it expires.

Daily Mission

Create a "design" (template) for missions that repeat every day. Missions are automatically generated daily based on the design.

Regular Mission

Create a design for missions that repeat on specific schedules — weekly, monthly, or yearly patterns.

NOTE Designs can be edited or deleted anytime from "Edit Mission" in Settings. Deleting a design does not affect already generated missions.
CHAPTER 05

Clearing Missions

Tap a mission card to perform the clear action.

How to Clear

  1. Tap the check button on the mission card
  2. A clear animation plays
  3. Reward points are earned!

If a repeat count is set, you need to clear all repetitions for the mission to be fully completed.

WARNING You can undo a clear action, but expired one-shot missions cannot be undone.

Mission Detail Screen

Tap a mission card to open the detail screen. Here you can edit, duplicate, give up, or clear the mission.

CHAPTER 06

Points System

Earn reward points by clearing missions.

Level System

Your level increases as you clear missions. The level changes based on your total clear count, and you can see how many clears remain until the next level.

TIP Spend your points on reward items in the Shop. Set up personal rewards to keep yourself motivated!
CHAPTER 07

Shop

In the Shop, you can purchase reward items you've created using your earned points.

Creating Items

  1. Tap "Add Shop Item" in Settings
  2. Set item name, price (Pt), and icon
  3. Optionally set stock quantity
  4. Tap "Create" to finish

Purchasing Items

  1. Switch to the "Shop" tab in the footer navigation
  2. Tap the item you want to purchase
  3. Confirm in the dialog by tapping "Purchase"
  4. Points are deducted and the item is yours!
NOTE You cannot purchase items if you don't have enough points. Clear more missions to earn points.

Using Items

Switch to the "Items" tab to see your purchased items. Tap an item and select "Use" to mark it as used.

Items with limited stock will be hidden from the Shop once the stock runs out.

TIP Reward ideas: "Buy favorite snacks (50 Pt)", "Watch a movie (100 Pt)", "Relax all day (200 Pt)" — create rewards that motivate you!
CHAPTER 08

Themes

Customize your app's appearance with themes. Switch designs to match your mood.

How to Change Theme

  1. Tap "Theme Shop" in Settings
  2. Preview available themes
  3. For paid themes, complete the purchase
  4. Tap "Apply" to switch to the theme
NOTE The "Kawaii Fancy" theme is a paid theme. It can be applied after purchasing through in-app purchase.
CHAPTER 09

Settings

Customize various app settings from the Settings screen.

Day Start Time

Change when daily missions reset. Default is midnight (00:00). Set it to 4:00 AM, for example, so late-night users don't lose their streak.

Display & Sound Settings

Clear Count Settings

View and adjust your current mission clear count. The clear count is the basis for the level system and is used to calculate your level.

Remove Ads

Remove ads through an in-app purchase. Once purchased, ads will no longer be displayed.

Username

Change the username displayed in the app.

CHAPTER 10

Backup

Back up your important data to the cloud and restore it when switching devices.

Authentication

Sign in with your Google or Apple account to use the backup feature.

How to Backup

  1. Tap "Backup Data" in Settings
  2. Sign in with Google / Apple
  3. Tap "Create Backup"
  4. Your data is saved to the cloud

How to Restore

  1. Install the app on your new device
  2. Sign in with the same account
  3. Tap "Restore"
WARNING Only the latest backup is saved. Restoring will overwrite your current app data.

CHAPTER 11

Notifications

Receive reminder notifications for one-shot missions with deadlines.

How to Set Up

  1. Open the one-shot mission create/edit screen
  2. Set an "End Date/Time"
  3. Choose your preferred notification timing
NOTE Make sure MissionTodo notifications are enabled in your device's OS settings.

Home Widget

Add a widget to your home screen to check today's mission status without opening the app.

Adding on iOS

  1. Long-press on an empty area of your home screen
  2. Tap the "+" button in the top-left corner
  3. Search for "MissionTodo"
  4. Choose a widget size and tap "Add Widget"

Adding on Android

  1. Long-press on an empty area of your home screen
  2. Tap "Widgets"
  3. Find "MissionTodo"
  4. Drag the widget to your home screen
